Throughout the years of my own travels, I've noticed that I never come back from a trip as the same person I was when I left home.

My first-ever trip to Yellowstone made me fall in love with this country, captivated by the free spirit of the Wild West, roaming buffalos, and the good-natured people. Everything I saw in the western movies growing up unfolded right in front of my eyes, here, in Wyoming.

Cowboys and Indians, rodeo, and Wild West history—I can't help but wonder how it was here 100 years ago, what it felt like to be a first settler in uncharted territories, or how it felt to be a Native American. Thanks to Yellowstone's protected lands, we can see the same landscape people witnessed a century ago. Looking at the snow-covered mountain tops, you can connect to the land and reset your spirit.

Since then, I've lived in California and Alaska, traveled through Europe, Tibet, China, Japan, and Africa. But no matter how much I like new places, my heart is in Wyoming.

I want you to see what I love about Wyoming, to experience it, and to witness the best of it.
